PANDA data Processing
The processing of data includes all steps, from the Input of Data through the Adjustment of Reduced Observations!
- Input of Raw Data:
- The raw data from a variety of total stations and digital levelling instruments can be read.
-
The baselines with corresponding covariance information from several GPS evaluating programmes
can be read - i.e. Trimble (GPSurvey), Leica (SKI).
- Reduction of the Observations:
- Instrumental and meteorological corrections are applied to the distance measurements.
- Observations are geometrically reduced to the station marks.
- Projection corrections are applied to the chosen mapping system.
- Testing the Observations and the Computation of Approximate Coordinates:
- All values in an observation epoch are checked against gross errors.
- The approximate coordinates are computed through a robust L1 adjustment.
